Waffle Wednesday Posters

Two Poster designs for Tarleton's Waffle Wednesday.

Software — 3ds Max, Illustrator, Photoshop

This was one of the first projects I did while designing for Student Publications at Tarleton. Waffle Wednesday is an annual event at Tarleton featuring waffles (I've never been myself). I made the posters for the 2015 & 2016 events.

The motif for these posters is the T-shaped waffle on the Texan shaped plate which is a food-ified version of the Tarleton Logo.

2015 Waffle Wednesday Poster — The first poster and one of my first projects ever at Student Publications. I made the waffle imagery with 3sd Max, a CG software package. The typography, unfortunately, was an afterthought of all the work I did for the rendering and thus is lacking a little design care.

2016 Waffle Wednesday Poster — This one incorporates a logo which I though would give a clearer identity to the event. There were concerns about the event's attendance rate.

The rendered waffle image in this poster features quite a bit more objects and detail including the jelly, glass of orange juice, and more detailed textures for the plate, waffle, & table. I used 3ds Max as well as my newly acquired V-Ray renderer
